MASSACHUSETTS: EMPLOYERS ADJUST TO PAID-SICK-LEAVE LAWS

Massachusetts recently joined the increasing number of states and municipalities that have enacted paid-sick-leave laws, but the lack of a uniform approach can make record-keeping and compliance difficult for employers. Three other states-California, Connecticut and Oregon- and the District of Columbia require employers to provide paid sick time.
