YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM AWARDS-The Promising and Effective Practices Network (PEPNet), which recognizes effective youth employment programs and provides information to policymakers to increase support for youth programming, is accepting applications for its 1999 awards. Programs will be judged on purpose, activities, organization, management, youth and workforce development and evidence of success. Youth employment/development organizations serving 14- to 25-year olds that are willing to participate in training workshops and be available for site visits are eligible to apply.
