VERONICA COHEN has been appointed associate vice president for major and planned gifts at Claflin University. She was vice president of university advancement at Mississippi Valley State University. Cohen earned a bachelor's from Saint Augustine's University and a master's from Springfield College.

DENEESE L. JONES has been appointed vice president for academic affairs at Trinity University. She was provost of Drake University. Jones received a bachelor's from Texas Woman's University, and a master's and a doctorate from Texas A&M University.

MARGARET WOODING BAKER has been appointed dean of the School of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of South Florida, effective August 22. She is associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Washington School of Nursing. Baker earned a bachelor's from Russell Sage College in New York, a master's from Otterbein College in Ohio and a doctorate from the University of Washington.

CHERYL TAYLORE LEE has been named chair of the Medical Center's Department of Urology and the Dorothy M. Davis Chair in Cancer Research at The Ohio State University. She was the Dr. Robert H. and Eva M. Moyad Research Professor of Urology at the University of Michigan. Lee earned a bachelor's from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.D. from Albany Medical College.

LINDA D. ROSE has been named president of Santa Ana College, effective July 18. She was president of Los Angeles Southwest College. Rose earned an associate from West Los Angeles Community College; a bachelor's and a master's from California State University, Dominguez Hills; and a doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles. …
