Having decamped to a substantially larger and even more lavish Beverly Hills estate, British pop star Robbie Williams has placed his no-longer-needed mansion in the guard-gated and celeb-stocked Mulholland Estates enclave in the Beverly Hills Post Office area up for sale at $11 million. The former member of the boy band Take That purchased the 10,681-square-foot mansion in July 2002 from country-music star Clint Black and "Knots Landing" actress Lisa Hartman Black for $5.45 million. The vaguely chateau-esque mansion, described as a "newly restored modem traditional," sits on nearly three-quarters of an acre with a total of seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.

Glass-and-wrought-iron doors set into a curtained porch open to a capacious, double-height foyer with a polished stone floor, a circular skylight, and a gracefully curved stone-tread staircase perfect for prom pictures and theatrical cocktail-party entrances. A sitting room just inside the front door features a carved marble fireplace, a custom built-in bookshelf unit, intricate dentil moldings, and walls covered in black damask, while the adjoining formal living room has a room-wide bank of nearly floor-to-ceiling glass doors. …
