Long-married showbiz veterans Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have significantly upsized their living situation, as was first revealed by the plugged-in property gos sips at The Real Deal, with the deep-pocketed $34.5 million purchase of two side-byside townhouses on a prime, tree-lined block in the heart of New York City's once bohemian, now fully fancified and wildly pricey West Village. Owned since the early 1920s by the United Methodist Women nonprofit organization, and just steps from the delicious and tourist-thronged Magnolia Bakery, the tum-of-the-20th-century redbrick townhouses were originally made available for purchase in the fall of 2015. At the time, there was speculation they might fetch as much as $44 million; they were last priced, however, at $34.5 million, according to digital listings. Presumably the Broderick-Parkers will spend a small fortune to upgrade and combine the townhouses that together have 50 feet of street frontage and encompass a suburban mansion-sized 13,900 square feet, with another 2,100 square feet of private outdoor space. …
