The future of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) will be hotly debated this election season. But a majority of employers-78 percent-are on the same page about wanting to keep at least some of its provisions in place, according to 2016 Employer-Sponsored Health Care: ACA's Impact, a survey report from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). "Employers have seen certain ACA provisions have a positive impact on their workforce," said Julie Stich, CEBS, research director at IFEBP.

What Companies Most Want to Keep

* Prohibition against preexisting condition exclusions (38 percent in favor).

* Coverage of adult children to age 26 (31 percent).

* Increased wellness incentives (31 percent).
