I've been sick to my stomach ever since news broke last month that former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson filed a sexual harassment suit against her ex-boss, Roger Ailes, and that dozens of' other women, including Megyn Kelly, reported similar stories to Fox's outside counsel.

Last week came yet another highly disturbing story by New York magazine's Gabriel Sherman, reporting that Fox paid a $3.1 million settlement to a one-time booker, Laurie Luhn, who claimed Ailes perpetrated an abusive sexual relationship with her over 20 years.

Luhn's explosive allegations, revealing lurid details of their encounters (which the magazine said it independently corroborated), included claims that some Fox personnel helped facilitate the dalliances, and that she was asked to steer other young Fox employees Ailes' way.

Attorneys for Ailes, who was forced to resign on July 21, have denied all charges.

The revolting allegations against Ailes, should they prove true, would demonstrate not only an unforgivable abuse of power by one of the most influential individuals in the media business, but Fox executives' culpability in a blatant cover-up. …
