Rocky Mountain Estate of Joe Cocker Up for Bids

Mad Dog Ranch, the Colorado estate of late and legendary musician Joe Cocker, will be sold to the highest bidder in a "no reserve" auction on Sept, l, according to a representative of Supreme Auctions, who will handle the sale in cooperation with listing agent Mandy Nadler of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.

The 16,000-square-foot manor house just outside of the town of Crawford, was custom-built by Cocker, who died in 2014, and his wife, Pam Baker Cocker, in the early 1990s. It's described in marketing materials as an English Tudor with a 33-foot-tall turret, a double-height foyer with sweeping staircase and inlaid marble floor medallion, and gigantic living and dining rooms with Gothic-style cathedral windows. The cherry-wood-paneled library has built-in bookcases; the huge billiard room sports a full bar and glassfronted display cabinets; and the colossal country kitchen has one of the largest and most elaborately detailed wroughtiron pot racks this property gossip has ever laid eyes on. …
