Alan Yang's mid-century bungalow near the end of a long cul-de-sac in the celebapproved Outpost Estates neighborhood of the Hollywood Hills is available for lease by high-earning renters at $7,000 per month. The former "Parks and Recreation" writer-producer and co-creator of the four-time-Emmy-nominated Netflix series "Master of None" purchased the hillside residence in August 2011 for a bit north of $1.2 million.

At just under 2,000 square feet, the two-story house - once featured on the home-design website Apartment Therapy - is relatively modest in size, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, according to online marketing materials. Designer Sally Breer was reponsible for many of the home's design upgrades.

The combination living and dining room on the upper floor has a fireplace clad in ruggedly masculine reclaimed-wood planks and a room-wide bank of windows providing bird's-eye city views that, on a clear day, extend to the Pacific Ocean. …
