* RedLink tapped Kent R. Anderson, who has more than 20 years of experience in digital publishing, as its new CEO. He is a past president of the Society for Scholarly Publishing and the founder of the Scholarly Kitchen blog. Anderson will help shape RedLink's growth as it launches new products and enters new markets.

* IBM appointed Bob Lord, former president of AOL, as its chief digital officer. Lord was the global CEO of Razorfish before working at AOL. He has experience with the agency and technology sides of advertising, which will benefit IBM.

* Piotr Adamczyk becomes ITHAKA's director of image content and museum partnerships on May 31, 2016. He will be responsible for expanding Artstor Digital Library and lead a new team of designers and developers who will collaborate with image contributors and users to improve their work.

* OCLC Research appointed Rebecca Bryant as its senior program officer, effective in June 2016. Bryant, project manager for researcher information services at the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign library, will develop new areas for OCLC Research and its Library Partnership program.

* Steve Rosato joined OverDrive as an international business development executive. He spent 18 years working for the BookExpo America (BEA) Steve Rosato conference, where he helped lead the BEA Global Market Forum. At OverDrive, he will open up new markets for publishers and help identify and acquire ebooks from various countries and in many languages.

* EBSCO Health's DynaMed team gained new executives: Peter Oettgen. became DynaMed's, editor-in-chief, and Kevin Loughlin became chief medical officer. They had previously worked on the 2015 launch of DynaMed Plus. In their new roles, they will continue to improve DynaMed as a trusted resource for point-of-care decision support.

* The New York Public Library hired Tony Ageh as its chief digital officer. Ageh comes from the British Broadcasting Corp. (BBC), where he led the development and implementation of its internet strategy. He will do the same at The New York Public Library, while also working to increase the library's virtual userbase as well as its local and global impact.

* John Webb became Spiceworks' general manager of Europe. In this role, he will scale the company's existing initiatives in the region and further the company's goal of helping technology professionals do their jobs effectively.

* Kudos introduced Steve Smith as its new institutional sales manager and Laura Simonite as its new account manager. …
