WID Chooses Its Leadership for the New Millennium

WID is ready to face the new millennium. At the WID Annual Meeting held on April 8,1999, the new WID Executive Board of Directors was elected. Ella Schiralli, Government Contracts Advisor, Manatt, Phelps and Phillips, LLP, will be returning for a second term as President Mary Anne Rodenhiser, Congressional Policy Analyst, ANSER will be the new Treasurer Julie Alford, Director of Market Research, SAIC, will serve as the new Secretary and Judy Cavanaugh, Director of Strategic Planning, UNISYS, will serve as the Honorary Chair of the Board. The Horizons Foundation will be directed by Rebecca "Becky" Patton, Operations Manager, Veridian Engineering. Also joining the Executive Board of Directors in an appointed, non-voting position is Carole Sue Coupland, Associate, FD Logistics, as the WID Historian, a newly created position on the Board.

The new members of the Board of Directors are all seasoned WID activists.

Mary Anne Rodenhiser served as the cochair of the WID Holiday Reception held at the Women's Memorial in December. Julie Alford served a two-year term as co-chair of the Program Committee, which was no small task. Judy Cavanaugh has been an active member of WID, the Horizons Foundation, and has served as WID President. Becky Patton has served WID in numerous leadership roles and established a WID networking reception at the annual NDIA environmental symposium, which was a real boost in the arm for WID's membership efforts.
