SoundGirls' summer camps teach middle school and high school-aged groups of teenage girls what it's like to supply audio for a live show, starting from the basics and proceeding all the way up to mixing at front of house. To help with the camps, Sennheiser supplied 20 (each) of their professional HD 280 headphones and evolution series microphones to capture the music. The camp attendees learned to mix on Mackie ProFX8v2 consoles and ran the main stage with a Mackie DL32R mixer, controlled via the Master Fader app. Finally, the sound was delivered through a pair of Mackie SRM450 loudspeakers.

"The SRM monitors are great," says SoundGirls Co-Director Tiffany Hendren. "They're easy to set up, and light enough that two 13-year-olds can assemble this PA in just a few minutes. And they're loud enough to give them a feeling of what it's like to mix a live rock band. …
