New Chapters, New Programs: Highlight Full Slate of Chapter Events

The spring semester has been a busy one for Phi Kappa Phi chapters across the nation. Texas A&M University, Kingsville; Pacific Lutheran University; Hillsdale College; and Caldwell University were all officially established as chapters 332, 333, 334 and 335 of the Society. Congratulations!

Originally installed on Nov. 15, 1915, the Kansas State University chapter of Phi Kappa Phi (Chapter 14) hosted a celebration honoring the 100th anniversary of its charter. This year's event took place in the Alumni Center Ballroom on Kansas State's campus, where Phi Kappa Phi National Board President Timothy Hulsey gave the keynote speech. "The Centennial Celebration of Phi Kappa Phi at Kansas State University was a fun and very special event. For those that participated, it was like having a special connection to the founding chapter scholars, many of whose names have historical significance on our campus and are on many of our buildings." said Chapter President Gary Clark.

The College of New Jersey (Chapter 208) held the first Barbara Meyers Pelson Faculty-Student Engagement Lecture hosted by Dr. Janet Morrison on March 30. The following faculty/ student pairings were presenters: Ruth Palmer and Anna Gracey, Blythe Hinitz and Jillian Manzo, and Lauren Madden and Jennifer Liang. …
