Denzel Washington presented Sidney Poitier with the Inspirational Lifetime Achievement Award, while David Foster, Sherry Lansing, and Jane Fonda were honored with the Brass Ring Award. All paid tribute to organizer Barbara Davis. "You are sunlight," Lansing said of the chairman of the Children's Diabetes Foundation.

Friends and family of Robin Williams gathered to honor the late comic and to mark the opening of SAG-AFTRA's acting center that bears his name.
