With summer nearly gone, it is time to look forward to a new election season. This year we will be electing a president-elect, a secretary, and 17 state delegates. Below is a list of the delegate positions being contested.

Our nominating process is very simple. We will take self-nominations from any NASP member wishing to seek a NASP officer or delegate position. Delegate candidates must have their official NASP mailing address in the state in which they are seeking election. With many working and living in different states, we go by where the official NASP mailings go.

New process this year. The deadline for all self-nominations is September 15,2016. The Elections Committee chair must receive an email from the candidate (there are no nominations from anyone other that the candidate). Please do not send an e-mail that says something like,

"I would like to nominate so and so for president-elect or delegate;" that person must contact the chair personally. …
