Hollywood Vibe owners Christopher and Anne Smith are clear about their mission as competition and convention directors. "We aim to continue to inspire, educate and help our students achieve their goals, both as dancers and people," Anne says. And with its high-profile faculty, plus the number of scholarships and opportunities offered at every event, students will look forward to each convention weekend.

Each of Hollywood Vibe's 20 regional events features a full weekend of classes led by some of L.A.'s most in-demand artists, including Brooke Lipton, Liz Imperio, Kent Boyd and Kevin Maher. And while the big names may sound intimidating, attendees have remarked that the teachers are among the most accessible working on the circuit. "We bring in these great people to motivate and inspire all of our dancers," Christopher says, "from those who want to move to L.A. or NYC to pursue a dance career to those who just love dancing."

If students are interested in a professional career, Hollywood Vibe Is offering more opportunities to be seen by casting directors and talent agencies, including Clear Talent Group, Go To Talent Agency, The Movement Talent Agency and McDonald/Selznick Associates. Hollywood Vibe's L.A. Agency Award gives dancers a dream trip to L.A. that includes classes at Millennium Dance Complex, professional headshots and the chance to meet with agents. More goodness: The award has been expanding, and additional scholarships will be awarded at regional events.

Hollywood Vibe has recently expanded their Vibe Company: Dancers (selected at Nationals) receive extra performance opportunities, attend extra classes and get to be mentored by a faculty member during Regionals. …
