ELENA D. HICKS has been appointed dean of undergraduate admission at Southern Methodist University (SMU). Hicks was dean of admission at Loyola University Maryland. Hicks earned a bachelor's and a master's from Texas Christian University.

OLGA PIERRAKOS has been appointed founding chair of the Department of Engineering at Wake Forest University. She is program director of the Division of Undergraduate Education at the National Science Foundation (NSF). Pierrakos earned a bachelor's and a master's from Virginia Tech, and a doctorate from the Virginia Tech-Wake Forest University School of Biomedical Engineering & Sciences.

NEFERTITI WALKER has been appointed director of diversity and inclusion at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is an assistant professor of sport management at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Walker completed bachelor's and master's degrees from Stetson University and a doctorate from the University of Florida.

MEGHAN DUBYAK has been appointed associate vice president for strategic communications at Georgetown University. She was Vice President Joe Biden's press secretary. In her role at Georgetown, Dubyak will serve as primary University spokesperson and lead message and narrative development for major University initiatives, programs and student and faculty achievements.

CHERYL RULES has been named dean of the College of Nursing and Allied Health at Grantham University. Her experience includes an extensive background in distance learning and online education. …
