This is a CD-ROM bringing the Internet into the classroom without the hassle of connecting to the real thing! The three main areas on the disc are the;

Notice Board (Index)

StaffBase: contains staff files listing relevance, teacher's instructions about use and syllabus fit.

Classroom which provides a)access to the on-line sites e.g. Biz Ed, Tesco, Body Shop, Co-Operative Bank, Scottish Enterprise, London Stock Exchange, World Bank./IMF and the European Monetary Institute

b)Student activities based on the above sites and some on the Internet. The disc will allow for connection to the Internet and contains activities for the following Internet sites; The Economist, F.T, House Web, Central Office of Information, HM Treasury, Destination Scotland, AA, RAC and the search engines Yahoo and Altavista.

Students would use the CD in the same manner as the Internet itself Sites are interconnected with common themes highlighted,

The CD-ROM would act as an add-on for many business syllabuses. It is primarily designed to fit in with the Scottish Higher and Leisure and Tourism GNVQ courses. The sites and activities will, however, provide limited background material for most GCSE and GNVQ Business courses.
