If it seems almost impossible to eat all of those servings of fruit and vegetables we're supposed to be eating every day, here are 10 more ways to help you meet your produce needs:

1 Add lots of chopped celery and onion to tuna salad. Or add crunch with chopped jicama (a mild, slightly sweet-tasting vegetable). Aim for half tuna, half veggies.

2 Add fruit to chicken salad: chopped apples, grapes, cubes of pineapple or diced mango. Aim for half chicken, half fruit.

3 Doctor pasta sauce with chunks of zucchini, diced onions and mushrooms, sliced peppers or shredded carrots.

4 Munch on an apple in the car. Apples are perfect for dashboard dining-no crumbs.

5 Keep small cans of lowsodium tomato juice or vegetable-juice cocktail in your desk at work, in the car, or in your tote bag or briefcase. They count as one serving. …
