Travels with Samantha

Article excerpt

Travels with Samantha is an electronic travelogue. It's a descriptive, meditative, and often humoristic tale of Philip Greenspun's (MIT) journey across North America. With his caravan packed with camping gear, thousands of dollars worth of photographic equipment, hundreds of eclectic books, his laptop computer, and mountain bike, Greenspun sets out to rediscover America. "It is about the summer I spent seeing North America, meeting North Americans, and trying to figure out how people live." he said.
