An elderly woman and her elderly women friends were driving on the freeway. An officer stopped her and asked if she knew why she was being stopped. She said, "No, I don't officer. I am going the speed limit of 22 miles per hour.'

The officer said, "You are too slow for traffic-that is the route number. By the way (looking at her passengers with bulging eyes and pale faces), are those women alright?"

The elderly driver said, "They will be in a few minutes, we just got off of Rt. 119.' Doris E Wert, Laureldale, Pa.

Two ex-Gls were sitting at a bar. One says to the other: "You know, I never could stand a braggart. That fellow down at the end has been mouthing off for two hours about how he won the war in the Pacific. Well, I got news for him!
