THE 33RD RIMS ANNUAL Conference will be held from April 22 through 29 in San Francisco. With the theme of "Involvement ... Value ... Vision," the conference promises to be the year's most exciting and educational event in risk management. Several changes are underway to streamline the conference, thereby giving all attendees a greater variety of educational and networking events.

The Conference Committee has planned 140 sessions and 40 industry workshops that focus on problems and solutions for risk managers in the global business economy. Fully aware of San Francisco's allure for visitors, the Committee decided to schedule the opening reception for Sunday, April 23, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. This scheduling will allow everyone to greet friends and colleagues, yet still have the evening free to enjoy the wonderful sites and restaurants of one of the United States' most beautiful cities.

In RIMS' firm commitment to highlighting the crucial issues in our industry and providing members with the opportunity to network to reach solutions to today's most pressing problems, the conference will again offer the highly successful "Brown Bag Luncheon," on Wednesday, April 26, at noon. …
