1. Question. What do I need to connect to the system?

Answer: An IBM compatible PC--386 or above processors are supported.

A modem; speeds of 9600 to 28,800 baud are recommended and supported.

Communication software is also required, but will provided, at no cost, as part of the user-interface software. Versions of the user interface are available for DOS and Windows 3.1 (A Macintosh version is planned.)

Copies of the user-interface software for Luca OnlineTM are available three ways:

a.) At the New York State Society of CPAs' Spring Accounting show;

b.) Upon request to The CPA Journal or your participating state society.

c.) Downloading a copy from the system (this requires communications software and familiarity with this procedure.)

You may make as many copies of the user interface as needed. there is no charge for the interface software.

2. Question. How do I connect to the system?

Answer: If you are calling from New York City, dial the access number (212) 944-5650.

If you are calling from out of the city, reduced rates are being negotiated with major carriers. Details will be provided with your user-interface software package. …
