LEXIS-NEXIS announced a broad array of multimedia products and services, including online images, voice and mobile computing capabilities for attorneys and expert system software at the American Bar Association Techshow in March.

The LEXIS-NEXIS online services unveiled a database of U.S. patent drawing sheets that legal researchers will be able to browse, manipulate, analyze, and incorporate into work documents using new LEXIS-NEXIS Research Software for Windows 4.0.

The patent imaging service was showcased at the LEXIS-NEXIS booth Voice and Images: Multimedia LEXIS-NEXIS as one of several multimedia applications offered by the company.

"This year's ABA Techshow is the place for attorneys to see for the first time the full range of the LEXIS-NEXIS integrated desktop and information management products and services," said Paul Brown, vice president of Legal Information Services at LEXIS-NEXIS.

"The LEXIS-NEXIS suite of fully integrated products and services is the first in the legal information industry to offer productivity tools that all work with each other and across electronic media and software applications," Brown added.

Also displayed at the LEXIS-NEXIS booth were these offerings from LEXIS-NEXIS and its sister companies Jurisoft and Michie Butterworth:

* The MORE command on the LEXIS-NEXIS services that allows the subscriber to use a single document as a model in order to run a plain-English FREESTYLE search to retrieve more documents that resemble it
