* The Board of Ethical Inquiry took the following actions:

1. Reviewed one new case involving a pending ARM Member. Further investigation will follow.

2. Discussed three pending cases: one involving a former CPM Member applying for reinstatement, which was forwarded to hearing; the other two cases involve current CPM Members, one case was dismissed and the other was forwarded to hearing.

3. Reviewed two ARM applications and forwarded both to Membership for processing.

* Although the Ethics Hearing and Discipline Board had scheduled hearings for two cases, one was postponed at the request of the Complainant and the other was dismissed as the Respondent resigned five days before the hearing. According to the Statement of Policies, the Respondent may not reapply for five years and, at such time, the application will be subject to the policies in effect at the time.

* The Ethics Appeal Board heard one appeal. The Complainants were tenants of an apartment building managed by the Respondent AMO company. The Complainants alleged that they had no information pertaining to their security deposit and did not receive interest after one year of tenancy, contrary to state law. …
