DR. DENNIS E. DANIELS has been named director of the Undergraduate Medical Academy at Prairie View A&M University and at the College of Medicine at Texas A&M University. Previously, he was deputy director with the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness in Atlanta. Daniels earned a bachelor's from the University of Texas at Austin, and master's and doctoral degrees from the UT School of Public Health at Houston.

DR. PATRICIA PIERCE-RAMSEY has been named provost and vice president of academic affairs at Bowie State University in Maryland. Previously, she was vice president of academic affairs at Shaw University in North Carolina. She earned a bachelor's in biology education from Norfolk State University, master's degrees in biology from both Howard University and Harvard University, and a doctorate in biology from Georgetown University.
