Gobos have gone from being an accessory to a necessity. Whether as corporate logos or dynamic scenic elements, they can be found everywhere in the worlds of entertainment and architecture. Gobos To Go, based in New Castle, Delaware, has broken away from the pack since its founding five years ago. In March 2003, the company was chosen as the exclusive, U.S. custom gobo supplier for lighting powerhouse Martin Professional. The reasons Gobos To Go has made such an impact are simple: superior quality gobos, rapid turnaround time (the fastest in the industry) and competitive prices.

Custom glass gobos from Gobos To Go are assembled differently from other companies. First of all, each layer of glass is extremely thin. As a member of the Beacon Gobo Group, a network of gobo makers, Gobos To Go utilizes layers of glass within each gobo that are only .08 mm thick. As a result, the focal plane of the finished product is sharper than that of other gobo makers. The company even does its own film separation, so the color density of each layer remains as rich and crisp as possible.

"Gobos to go has great service, excellent quality and very competitive pricing," says Eric Loader, Martin Professional's director of sales for the U.S. "We chose them mainly because even though they're smaller than other companies that make gobos, they're very focused on doing what they do."
