JOCELYN BIGGS has been named interim admissions director at Johnson C. Smith University in North Carolina. Previously she was assistant admissions director at the university. Biggs earned a bachelor's from Bennett College in Greensboro, N.C.

DR. MARK D. GARRISON has been named director of graduate studies at Kentucky State University. He had been serving in an interim role. Garrison earned a bachelor's from Shimer College, a master's from the University of Dallas and a doctorate from Emory University.

DR. J. PHILLIP HALSTEAD has been named associate vice chancellor for outreach and economic development at North Carolina A&T State University. He was formerly the executive director of the Business and Technology Institute at Pittsburg State University in Kansas. Halstead earned his bachelor's, master's and doctorate from Florida State University.

DR. LINDA NIXON HUDSON has been named associate dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research at Winston-Salem State University. Previously she was the assistant dean of the graduate school and assistant professor at East Carolina University. …
