President-Elect

Robert Scarborough has been elected to serve as president-elect of ACTE for 2005-2006. Scarborough is the director of external operations of the Adult Workforce Development Division at the Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development in Ohio.

An active member of ACTE since 1975, Scarborough currently serves ACTE on the Board of Directors as vice president of the Adult Workforce Development Division. He also serves on the Executive Committee, the Bylaws Committee and the new Communities of Practice Core Team. Scarborough holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Cincinnati.

Region I Vice President

Margaret Hess has been elected vice president of ACTE's Region I. Hess is the superintendent of Warren County Career Center in Ohio. She served as the president of the Ohio ACTE for three years, in addition to serving on the ACTE Publications and Awards committees.

Hess holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Georgia State University and received her Principal and Superintendent's Certificate from Xavier University.

Marketing Education Division Vice President
