Hockey Player Was 'Miracle' Actor

Michael Mantenuto, 35, an actor and hockey player who starred in Disney's 2004 film "Miracle," died April 24 of an apparent suicide in Des Moines, Wash. "Miracle" tells the story of the U.S. hockey team that upset a heavily favored Soviet squad and won the gold medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics. Mantenuto played U.S. team member Jack O'Callahan, who returns to the rink after a knee injury to make a key play that leads to a goal against the Soviets.
