FIVE-TIME SUPPORTING comedy actress nominee Jane Krakowski ("30 Rock," "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt") remembers her early awards show fashion experiences fondly. "I bought my dress from a department store, my earrings were bought off a street vendor in New York City, and I didn't use professional hair and makeup people - I didn't know we were supposed to do that!," says Krakowski, who first attended the Emmys for "Ally McBeal." The year "30 Rock" first won for best comedy series - "such a wonderful surprise [which] had a direct impact on the next season pick-up of the show" - Krakowski wore a pocketed Pamella Roland gown. "I think I was going for a Studio 54 vibe with the neckline, gold belt, hoop earrings and black and gold clutch." She added a Jerry Hall-inspired 'do. "You can take the girl out of Jersey but you can't take the Jersey out of her hair!"

Krakowski had never seen anything like this navy Versace dress with a "daring back of ribbon slashes down to as low at it could go." Versace provided "barely there" custom undergarments, and what she swears were pheromones ("there is definitely sex in the DNA of any Versace dress").
