Entertainment One (eOne) has picked up the untitled AP McCoy documentary from Moneyglass Films for UK and Ireland with plans to release the film theatrically later this year.

Directed by Bafta-winner Anthony Wonke (The Tower: A Tale of Two Cities), the all-access documentary - previously known as Being AP - follows the story of 20-time champion jockey AP 'Tony' McCoy through his final season.

The 40 year-old has notched up more than 4,300 wins, 700 falls, 40 broken bones and a BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award in 2010 across a near 25-year racing career.

"The opportunity to film with a sports legend such as AP McCoy while still performing at the height of his considerable powers is a unique and special one," said producer Nick Ryle. …
