LD Entertainment Greenlights 'Dog Days'

’We’ve made a lot of serious movies lately so it will be fun to jump into a comedy,’ Mickey Liddell says.

Mickey Liddell’s LD Entertainment has greenlit the comedy Dog Days and with Ken Marino to direct.

The story will centre on people in Los Angeles brought together by their common love of canines. Marino, who directed this year’s $60m global hit How To Be A Latin Lover, will direct from a screenplay by Elissa Matsueda. Erica Oyama did a rewrite.

Principal photography on Dog Days is set to commence in Los Angeles in October. LD is fully financing the project and is going out to actors. Mickey Liddell and his LD Entertainment colleagues Pete Shilaimon and Jennifer Monroe serve as producers.
