CHIARAVALLE MONTESSORI SCHOOL, EVANSTON, IL Chiaravalle Montessori recently opened a new North Wing, which replaces an old annex. The new space increases student independence through integrated arts spaces, flexible classrooms, and a Global/Peace Lab and theater. A larger gym expands movement opportunities. The North Wing, completed in honor of the school's 50th anniversary, connects to the main school building, a historical structure designed by Daniel Burnham, perhaps best known as one of the chief architects of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. Chiaravalle joins only a few schools in Illinois that have achieved the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED Platinum certification. (AMS-Accredited School)

By virtue of their AMS accreditation, Boulder Montessori has been rated a Level 3 by the Colorado Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS). Level 3 indicates that a program has met the requirements of Levels 1 and 2 by complying with licensing standards and achieving a set of indicators intended to "promote positive experiences."
