BILLIE JO KIPP has been named president of California Tribal College. She previously served as president of Blackfeet Community College in Browning, Montana. Kipp earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Great Falls and a master's degree and Ph.D. from the University of Montana.

SAM D. BURSTON has been appointed vice president and chief advancement officer at Clark Atlanta University. He previously served as national director of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). Burston earned a bachelor's degree in education from Morris Brown College.

RHONDA Y. WILLIAMS has been named inaugural holder of the John L. Seigenthaler Chair in American History at Vanderbilt University. She previously was a professor of history and founder and director of the Social Justice Institute at Case Western Reserve University. Williams earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
