Fifteen films including Agnes Varda and JR’s Faces Places have made it on to the Academy’s shortlist for the best documentary feature for the upcoming 90th Academy Awards.
Cohen Media Group distributes Faces Places in the US. The selection includes Bryan Fogel’s Netflix film Icarus, an exposé of doping in sports that is particularly timely given the recent move by the IOC to ban Russia from the Winter Olympics in South Korea next February. …
