Twisted Teens of 'Thoroughbreds'

Cory Finley makes his directing debut with this spare thriller that started gathering buzz at Sundance last year and has finally made its way to theaters. Anya Taylor-Joy and Olivia Cooke star as upper-class Connecticut teenage girls whose severe case of ennui turns into something entirely more menacing. The atmospherically bleak indie also features the late Anton Yelchin, as a drug dealer they try to manipulate, in one of his final screen roles.
