* The National Defense Industrial Association-Georgia Chapter held its annual awards dinner in January to honor Georgia citizens or companies that have provided significant support for national defense.

Among the winners were:

The chapter's highest and most prestigious honor, the CitizenSoldier award, went to Atlanta-based Meggitt Training Systems.

The Hermes Cyber Award, which recognizes the significant contributions made to the long-term strategic posture of cyber activities within the state, was given to Todd Boudreau, the civilian deputy of the Cyber School at Fort Gordon.

The Small Business Award was presented to Daniel Defense of Black Creek. Daniel Defense is a manufacturer of premium firearms, rail systems and accessories.
