With more than 40 years of service to professionals in the audio, video, lighting, and musical instrument industries, Full Compass continues to expand its legacy of service and support for the arts.

Jonathan Lipp started Full Compass in 1977 as a professional audio equipment supplier. Susan Lipp joined as president in 1979, and together built the Full Compass team and grew the company to represent more than 700 brands and 100,000 products across several creative industry categories.

As a family-owned company, Full Compass is dedicated to meeting the needs of their clients and customers while treating them like family-with honesty, integrity and respect. CEO Jonathan Lipp is quick to point out that "Customer loyalty doesn't come from selling stuff. Loyalty comes from creating a relationship with the customer." This philosophy is central to everything Full Compass does - from their extensive customer support training to active investment in a people-oriented company culture and positive working environment.

Full Compass has been influential in local and regional arts programs and its founders have consistently worked to increase access to music and arts education. Each year, Jonathan and Susan travel to Washington, D.C. to participate in the annual NAMM Fly-in Music Education Advocacy events. …
