On 10 November, celebrate with the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association, at historic Pier 45 on San Francisco's Embarcadero, to honor the 75th anniversary of two gallant vessels - WWII submarine USS Pampanito and Liberty ship SS *Jeremiah O'Brien. Participate in the celebration by entering contests: Costume, kissing, and swing dancing. Enjoy live entertainment, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and a special VIP bay cruise as they celebrate the Greatest Generation of men and women who built and served aboard these vessels.

The USS Pampanito made six patrols in the Pacific during World War II during which she sank six Imperial Japanese ships and damaged four others. Operated by the Maritime Park Association, Pampanito hosts over 100,000 visitors a year and is one of the mostpopular historic vessels in the country. Pampanito is a National Historic Landmark.

The SS Jeremiah OBrien is one of two remaining fully functional Liberty ships of the 2710 built and launched during World War II. …
