'After' Crosses $50M at International Box Office for Voltage Pictures

Voltage Pictures’ YA romance adaption After has crossed $50m at the international box office, making it the top independent performer of the year to date.

Since launching in April, the film starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Josephine Langford opened at number one in 17 territories licenced by Voltage, and has gone on to gross more than $7.7m in France, $8.2m in Germany, and $7m in Italy. Other highlights include $2.8m in Russia, $2.7m in Scandinavia, and $1.4m in Benelux.

The two leads and author Anna Todd, upon whose bestselling Watt Pad and book series the film is based, travelled extensively in support of the film. The promotional tour covered Mexico City, São Paulo, Madrid, Lisbon, Milan, Rome Paris, and Toronto. …
