A “controlled explosion” damaged the outside of the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios.

A crew member was injured by an explosion on the set of Bond 25 yesterday (June 4).

According to a spokesperson, a “controlled explosion” damaged the outside of the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios in Buckingham, causing a “minor injury” to a crew member outside.

A tweet from the official James Bond account said: “During the filming of a controlled explosion on the set of Bond 25 today at Pinewood Studios, damage was caused to the exterior of the 007 Stage. There were no injuries on set, however one crew member outside the stage has sustained a minor injury.”

The phone lines at Pinewood were down on Wednesday morning and Screen understands the roads in the lot around the damaged sound stage had been closed to contain the incident. …
