Healing BALM Ministry Has Community Health Fair Today; Keeping the Faith

Healing BALM Ministries of Northeast Florida Inc. will present a community health fair, "Healthy People 2010," from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Northeast Florida Fairgrounds on U.S. 1 in Callahan.

The fair will feature free health screenings, live entertainment and prizes. More than 20 vendors will distribute beneficial health information. For more information, call 548-0055.


Harper Chapel Baptist Church, Harper Chapel Road in Yulee, will present Talent Night at 7 p.m. April 26. Local churches are invited to participate in the program. For information, or to appear on the program, call Willie Mae Ewing at 261-7595.


Aerobics classes at Springhill Baptist Church, 3811 Old Nassauville Road, will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Evangelist Gerald Mayhan will lead a revival April 27-30 at Hilliard First Assembly on U.S. 1.

The revival will be at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. April 27, and will continue at 7 p.m. April 28-30. Mayhan, who has worked in prison ministry since 1993, serves on the board of directors for Teen Challenge Ministry in Capital Heights, Md. For more information, call 845-2642.


The Rev. Bernard Thompson will speak during a fellowship service at 5 p.m. April 27 at First Baptist Church, Pinewood Drive in Yulee.

The Male Chorus of Callahan invites the community to attend its annual Spring Concert.
