Do you want to take several strokes off your golf handicap?

Do you have up to 10 hours a day, for nine days in May to spare?

Do you want to be a star . . . in Japan?

Then Scott Sackett has a proposition for you.

Sackett, the director of the PGA Tour Academy, based at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, is looking for three area golfers to be the subjects of a 13-part instructional series that will be shown on MHK Japan. Sackett said the network, the Japanese equivalent of PGA Tour Productions, is filming the series at the World Golf Village in High Definition TV.

Sackett and MHK are seeking a male between the ages of 25-40, with a handicap between 10-20; a female between the ages of 35-45 with a handicap between 10-30; and a male 60 years or older with a handicap between 10-20. Those three people must be available for filming each day between May 5-9, and May 12-15, from 8-10 hours a day. …
