Australian opener Matthew Hayden believes the West Indies simply do not have the firepower to compete with the all-conquering Aussies.

The World Cup winners are currently 1-0 up in the four-Test series and firmly in charge of the second Test currently being played in Port of Spain, Trinidad.

In that match, the West Indies are 107 for three at the end of day four, chasing 407 runs to win following another convincing display by the Australians.

On Tuesday, Hayden (100 not out) became the fourth batsman to reach three figures in the Test, following first innings heroes Ricky Ponting (206), Darren Lehmann (160) and Adam Gilchrist (101no).

Justin Langer and Ponting also scored centuries in the victorious first Test and Hayden has predicted more misery to come for the Windies bowlers.

"We are pretty confident about them (West Indies) not taking 20 wickets in any of the Test matches," said Hayden after scoring his 13th Test century on his first tour to the Caribbean. …
