Caring couple Margaret and Nelson Knight have found themselves in with a shot of landing our title after taking their neighbour in as one of their own.

When Rochelle Forsyth moved to Westerhope, she encountered problems adjusting as her husband worked long hours and her family lived away.

But things picked up as soon as she met her neighbours and the pair have been lending their support ever since.

Rochelle said: "They made me feel like part of their own family. I'm so grateful for all the things they do for me and they never ask for anything in return.

"But it's not just me they help - it's everyone in the street. They're always putting something up for someone or hammering something in. Whenever someone asks for help they are always there.

"I never used to know my neighbours in the place I lived before, but it's so fantastic to have people like Margaret and Nelson next door," the 28-year-old housewife added.

"They give advice whenever I need it and will help out with any request. …
