A range of four and five bedroom homes from award-winning developer George Wimpey North East are attracting house buyers of all ages to the Regency Gardens development in Church Lane, Guisborough.

The luxury development is in a rural location and beautiful surrounding countryside.

One of the big attractions of this development is the location on the edge of the pretty market town, and ancient capital of Cleveland, Guisborough.

The town is in the foothills of the North Yorkshire moors and surrounded by stunning countryside.

George Wimpey has been on-site for around three years and the development is now in its final phase.

Once completed it will have 144 properties - and around 40 are available in this final stage.

Gillian McDermott, sales executive, said properties were selling quickly.

"It's a very popular site," she said.

"We're seeing all kinds of people buying here - families, first time buyers and older residents.

"It's a real mix.

"People really seem to like the location. It's situated on the edge of Guisborough and you can easily walk to the high street.

"Because the development is well established it also looks really good, the gardens are maturing - the place looks lovely."

She added house hunters were coming from across the region to take a closer look at what is on offer.

"We've had people from all over the place," she added. "But we've had a lot of interest from the Redcar and Normanby areas."

There are a number of house types available at the site.

They include the Ashbourne, a four bedroom detached home with tandem double garage.

Accommodation includes a study, downstairs cloak room, large fully fitted kitchen, master bedroom with en-suite, a further three bedrooms with bedrooms two and three sharing an en-suite shower room, a family bathroom, spacious lounge and dining room with French doors to rear garden.

Another is the four bedroom detached Kendal property which has an integral garage.
