Thesis is napped to extend his winning run this season to four in the Blue Chip Feeds Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham tomorrow.

Venetia Williams' exciting prospect scored an easy victory at Worcester in early May and followed up in good style over the same course and distance later that month.

Thesis returned at Wetherby on November 1 after a five-month break and looked better than ever when beating Firozi by 20 lengths in a class C event.

He already had the race in safe keeping when his nearest rival, Petrula, came to grief at the last.

Thesis, who has done well physically over the summer, travelled strongly throughout his race last time and appears very much on the upgrade.

Ballybrophy can underline his Martell Cognac Grand National claims with victory in the Paddy Power Handicap Chase over four miles.

After the eight-year-old had beaten Max Pride by three and a half lengths at Warwick in March, his trainer Simon Sherwood said: "He appears to be a classic horse for the Grand National in that he travels, jumps and stays all day. …
