BURNING ISSUES

Slow starts: The Jaguars have to keep trying to come from behind because they've been outscored 58-17 in the first quarter this year. By contrast, they've only been outscored by one and seven points in the second and third quarters and by 17 in the fourth. Coach Jack Del Rio said it's just a matter of having to execute better in the first quarter. In seven of their 10 games this year, they've trailed at halftime. If they're to have a strong finish, they need to get some fast starts.

Aaron Beasley, CB, New York Jets: A third-round draft pick by the Jaguars in 1996, Beasley went on to set the team record for career interceptions (15) and interceptions in a season (six) before departing in free agency two years ago. Beasley has started all but one game since joining the Jets and leads them with two interceptions this season. He also has 26 tackles, eight pass breakups and one forced fumble. …
