Former Olympic athlete Diane Modahl last night became the second celebrity to pack her bags and leave the jungle camp in ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Peter Andre and Diane received the fewest votes from the public after surviving nine days in the Australian outback. But, the 37-year-old took the news of her eviction well as she said her goodbyes to the other contestants.

The remaining eight in the third series of the show are John Lydon, 47, Kerry McFadden, 23, Neil "Razor" Ruddock, 35, Alex Best, 32, Peter Andre, 30, Lord Brocket, 52, Jennie Bond and Jordan, 25.

Diane had been 10/11 favourite to get the boot from the Queensland camp with Jennie 6/4 second favourite and all the others 10/1 or longer odds, according to bookmakers William Hill. Presenter Declan Donnelly was forced to apologise live on air after Lydon let rip with expletives when he learned that the viewers had voted him in. Dec said: "We are very sorry for that. …
